In this video, Pastor George Pearsons, from Eagle Mountain International Church and Kenneth Copeland Ministries, shares a powerful word to God’s people about the importance of casting your vote in support of Biblical values—no matter what. This issue of abortion is pro-life vs. pro-choice. To have the heart of God, we must stand for life—no exceptions. Throughout the Scriptures the value of every human life is clearly established. Psalm 139 indicates that God knows each person before his or her body ever takes shape, and He has a plan for each life.
As the Author of life, God considers an unborn child to be an eternal being from the moment of its conception. To deliberately destroy that life before birth would be as much premeditated murder as taking the life of any other innocent person. In His great love, God Himself urges us to choose life for ourselves and our children (Deuteronomy 30:19).
In the natural, the decision to choose life can seem more difficult in cases such as those involving rape or incest. Despite the circumstances, God has a plan for the unborn child. Choosing life is not always easy or convenient, but it is always the best path to take.
Given these truths, anyone who votes for a candidate who supports abortion becomes an accomplice to murder. God will hold all who support those candidates accountable. The issue of abortion—pro-life vs. pro-choice—is really pro-Bible vs. no Bible. The Lord will hold you responsible–even if you choose not to vote at all. Every election has an impact on the world around you—state elections, local elections. It all matters!
